Famlies of trapped miners MAD about rescue efforts
This is a very tough situation for everyone involved, and it is hard for me to see why these families are taking it out on the mine owner. I understand that they are sad and want to keep trying, but they aren't thinking about the rescue crews at all. Not only has it been 14 days since they were trapped, but their has been 3 rescue workers killed and others injured in trying to save them.
At some point, when it is too dangerous, the search must stop. I know I am going to catch some heat for saying this and the comments will likely come flooding in, but I am not saying this to be insensitive. I feel for the families of the miners, but I also feel for the families of the rescue workers who lost their loved ones, too. If the rescue attempts weren't getting so dangerous, they would still be looking... but don't say they are "giving up"!
