It sounds like my parents have been busy working on their house and helping my sister with their basement. The tough part about home improvements is to have the correct tools for what you are wanting to accomplish. I know my dad has a variety of different air tools and other equipment. Winter seemed so long and now summer is almost gone. Just around the corner fall will be here and with that, so will Halloween. This will be Emry's first Halloween. We are not big fans of the dark side and meaning of Halloween, but you can do bright, fun activities for kids at that time also. I'm not sure what kind of Halloween costume to purchase or possibly make for Emry. I better start thinking on that.
Recently my mom was telling me about their computer problems. They have two laptops and they were both not working. They found out today that the one is up and running again. It had something to do with a problem with Windows. The other computer, they are thinking, may need a new hard drive or mother board? They are not really sure, but I know they are happy that they have one that is working now.
WOW! What an awesome thing it is to become a mother. parenting is exciting and new everyday. I know some say it is and can be quite challenging, but I am up for the challenge. As my mother-in-law would say, “it is one of the most important things she has ever done in her life". There is no "How To" books, you just learn as you go. It will be a wonderful and exciting ride.
Growing up, Josh and I were pretty blessed with not having to big of an issue with acne. I know that there are many out there that suffer with this condition and end up even having acne scars to deal with for the rest of their lives. It can be a rough road for the teenager that suffers. My husband and I are starting to pick up some new furnishings. We have been living in furnished apartments and are wanting to invest in some of our own things. We recently bought a living room set with sofas, ottoman and end tables. Now we are thinking about a tv stand. Not really sure just what kind of look we are going for yet. I have a pretty good idea though.

I have wanted to get a dog for quite sometime. I grew up having dogs and other pets. I think it is great for children. The love they give each other and learning responsibilities. Josh and I recently visited a local shelter. There we found an English Cocker Spaniel. He is a brown and cream mix. He's just beautiful. We have named him Charlie and are hoping to bring him home soon. All we will need are some dog supplies and we'll be set.
