Pioglitazone, also known as Actos, ActoplusMet, Competact and Duetact, has now been linked to very serious side effects that include heart attacks, heart failure and even bladder cancer. It is sad that people trust these companies to help them and they could end up hurting them. It is important for people to understand these possible risks so they can make informed decisions on whether they want to take certain drugs or not.
