At least 26 deaths in standout between Pakistani forces and Radical Islamic Students

"Pakistani forces and radical Islamic students in Islamabad -- Pakistan's capital -- remained locked in a tense standoff at the Lal Masjid, or Red Mosque, punctuated by heavy explosions and periodic exchanges of gunfire, a four day siege that has now resulted in at least 26 deaths.

The violence began Tuesday when about 150 militant students attacked a police checkpoint close to the mosque. Police fired tear gas and the students fought back with sticks and guns and took refuge in the mosque."

This day is getting crazier by the minute!

Keep track of the whole situation here!
